Progress between runs

Azeroth Survivors equipment & talents: plan permanent progress

Two runs with the same class can begin with very different permanent progress. Keep that starting point visible before deciding that a build is stronger.

Separate the three decisions

Equipment

Record the permanent equipment your character already has. A player recording can rely on items a fresh character does not own.

Talents

Record your allocated permanent talents before the run. Read each current in-game description rather than assuming a guide’s old values still apply.

Run cards

Write down the choices actually offered and what you selected. A planned combination is not a guaranteed offer sequence.

Use one comparison question

First identify what stopped your last run: running out of movement space, losing health faster than you recover, or failing to remove enemies quickly enough. Keep the class, region and difficulty as similar as you can, then change one priority.

Record whether the situation improved. A single win or unusually lucky sequence is an observation, not a universal build ranking.

Read recordings in context

The Warlock recording by Windowtismm describes permanent equipment from bosses and talent XP earned per run. Goerson’s Mage recording opens with equipment and unlocked regions already present. Both are useful examples of why starting investment matters.

Protect your progress before experimenting

In the checked original v0.103.1 menu, use Options → Saves → Export Save. Keep a separate backup before changing browser or device. Import replaces progress rather than merging two saves.

This guide and its notebook cannot read or modify your game equipment, talents or save.
